Extra-Curricular Cooking Club 25/11/19

    On Wednesday 6th November, students undertook a pastry-making task by looking at the different methods of creating food using pastry. During their first lesson, the students rolled up their sleeves and took to their worktops to prepare delicious light, crisp shortcrust pastries. They discovered the technique to achieving an outstanding melt-in-the-mouth pastry, whilst accentuating the piquancy of the filling. They are now testing their skills by learning how to create the layered ‘puff’ in puff pastries.
