‘Free Expression’ Art Lessons 28/09/20
On Thursday 17th September, students in Year 7 engaged in a task which promotes ‘free expression’. This involved creating an abstract Art work which was based on a few simple suggestions - the moon, the sun, a star, a fish or a tree. Using at least two of these themes, they were asked to use their imagination and creativity to produce work which was unique to their own experience and personality. The essence of the lesson was to promote a fearless approach to Art without fear of judgement. This motivates all levels of ability.
