Food Technology Lessons 2/10/20
Students may not be able to cook at present but they showed potential with ‘plating up’ tasks. Students used a variety of equipment to decorate their plate for a dessert. With demonstrations in place, they set off to create a fabulous selection of well-presented plates. They learnt how to use everyday equipment and materials to create designs and attractive show stopping features. The lesson not only allowed them to practise these skills but to have a clear understanding that they do not need expensive equipment or ingredients to present a dish that is eye catching. These students are starting to blossom with talent and creativity.
