Science Museum Trip

Year 9 visit the Science Museum!

On Friday 20th May, our Year 9 students visited the Science Museum. They spent time in the ‘Exploring Space’ gallery where they saw a full-sized replica of the Eagle — the lander that took astronauts Armstrong and Aldrin to the Moon in 1969. They then moved onto the ‘Who Am I’ gallery where they explored the science of who we are through intriguing objects, provocative artworks and hands-on exhibits. Finally, the students visited the ‘Engineer Your Future’ gallery where they took part in challenges, games and films which helped them to understand what engineers do, and find out whether this could be a potential career prospect for them!
